christmas is over

Yes the holiday of all holiday's came and went without me stressing out. Everyone eat alot and got presents. I didnt get everything I wanted but that is a process that never really ends anyway.

Now it is time for me to plan for my little boy's birthday. Josh is turning 5 and let me tell ya he is lucky to still be alive. Especially during this time. He has been wired for sound all damn week. I am about ready to throw him out the window.

I know some of you are thinking now Mary he is your little boy. Say that now but I will gladly send the little guy over to your place. If you dont A.throw him out said window, B.send him back before 4 hours or C.go nuts you are a better person than I.

How many circles does a kid have to run around before he stops?? Loud seems to be his only setting right now too. When he goes up the stairs I wonder when I got a baby elephant. Havent been able to send him outside cause it is either to wet or cold. I dont know how much more I can take of this!!!

I just have to surive till the 5th of Jan than i can take him back to school and have a few hours peace and quiet in my house again. Even on the holiest of nights I couldnt get that. Anyone have some duct tape???

A pair of winter gloves dangle from a statue Thursday at the Mountain Home Veteran's Plaza. For the fourth year in a row, a secret Santa has placed gloves and mittens around the plaza and at other locations in downtown Mountain Home. The bag also contains a candy cane and note reading "Merry Christmas."

Will you do something this season without being asked??

This is a good one

I couldnt help myself with this one. I mean come on this is funny as hell especially towards the end with who they were released to.

Iowa fans cited for restroom sex during Gophs game

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- While the Hawkeyes were stomping the Gophers on the Metrodome field last weekend, police said two Iowa fans were having a romp of a different kind in a restroom. Both events, police say, had their share of cheering fans.

A 38-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man turned to a handicapped stall for their tryst Saturday evening.

On the field, the Hawkeyes were on their way to 55-0 trouncing of the Gophers. In the restroom, a crowd of intoxicated fans gathered to cheer the off-the-field event.

Eventually, a security guard tipped off University of Minnesota police. Officers had to interrupt the couple to cite them for indecent conduct, a misdemeanor.

Police Chief Greg Hestness said the woman initially gave a false name to officers. She was released to her husband and the man was released to his girlfriend.

Both people in the stall were intoxicated.

You think? Never would 2 strangers that are intoxicated have sex. Never heard of. Just goes to show you when your team is winning you want to share your joy. I myself just text my friends but hey to each their own.

Happy Turkey Day

It is that time of the year where not only do we stuff ourselves full but also give thanks for what we have in our life. I have so much to be thankful for that it would take alot of typing to get it all out. Since I dont have that much time and dont want to make that many errors I will sum it up.

First of course is my family. I am blessed to have 4 amazing kids. DJ the oldest doesnt live with us but I am still proud of him everyday even if he isnt here to know it. Liz and Josh while they drive me crazy every chance they get, are good kids that I am blessed to have. Mac being the newbie in the family, is a kid I was not expecting. He is here though and a great addition.

My hubbie is a good man that takes care of his family with all he has. He loves me to distraction. We may fight but I wouldnt trade him for anything in the world. OK i have to put this in there, if he was richer he would be the perfect man. Just saying. Cant let his head get to big ;)

My sister, brother, mom, dad, sister and brother in-laws and both step parnets are great to. They want the best for my family and me. Sometimes they harp on this fact a little hard but I know they mean well.

My friends, wow what can I say about them. I pimped Winter's ass the other post so honestly I cant say much more there. Jen is a great gal to know and makes me laugh all the time. We both have college teams that drive us nuts and to drinking. Laurie, what can I say about my goat. She makes me laugh and cry all in one. Mollie is my friend that makes me feel young. Ally and Avalon are both my long distance connects that help me to remember there is more to my little part of the world. Great gals all of them. I cant imagine my life without any of my girls.

I hope and pray that each and every one of you have a great thanksgiving. Eat to much and dont forget to call, e-mail or hug someone that you are thankful for.

Ok enough mussy stuff

Bus driver accused of braking hard to topple pupil

AMBRIDGE, Pa. (AP) -- A school bus driver will be charged with endangering a 10-year-old boy for intentionally braking suddenly so the boy would fall down, police said. The driver was upset because the boy would not remain in his seat, Harmony Township police Sgt. Jim Essek said. The driver told the boy to stop moving around before allegedly threatening him by saying, "If you do it again, I'll knock you down," Essek said.

When the fourth-grader moved around again, the bus driver hit the brakes.

The incident happened Tuesday in the Ambridge Area School District, about 25 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Police Chief Jack Lively said police will not release the driver's identity until charges are filed, likely by Monday.

Police have seized a surveillance video from the bus. The boy was knocked to the floor out of camera view, but is seen getting up holding his face. Other students are knocked around and one is flipped over a seat.

The driver and the boy have had run-ins before, parents said.

The boy's mother claimed he was "singled out" for discipline when students got rowdy in the past and asked school officials to have someone monitor the bus. Lively said the monitor was on the bus Tuesday, but didn't get out of his seat to intervene.

School officials said they are reviewing the incident.

All right this is bullshit. I am also a bus driver and have used the "brake check" myself to get a kid to sit down. I never knocked anyone down but I have got their attention.

Kids do not want to listen until it is to damn late. We as bus drivers have to go through hours upon hours of training every year. We go through those hours and than what happens we get the blame when something goes wrong. We lose our licenses and our money.

Oh no lets not blame the kid that has been written up numerous times. Lets not blame the kid that wont listen when all we want you to do is sit down for the ride home so that if the bus gets hit you wont get hurt even more.
Do you stand up in your car? Do you run around in the car? Do you yell and hollar so much that the driver goes home with a headache everyday? Ok the last one does happen but you get the point.

Let's not charge this driver. Let's get the kids and try to teach them more. Hey schools take some time and help us drivers out. Most schools dont but when a bus gets in a accident they want to fire the driver cause kids got hurt. Well did you think about the kids when you let them on the bus. Is an hour a semster to much to ask for? Let the kids get some training to.

OK I am off my soapbox now. Have a good weekend.

Feel good Winter

Sometimes when you are feeling your worse someone special makes you feel better. Today my buddy Winter helped me feel better even though my ass is dragging so much some of it is in her home state. California is a long way to drag but I am tired.

Winter is a friend I met a few years ago when we were both writing over at Katie Mac's website. Katie had set up a place for people to go in and basically write out a story. I thougth why not for kicks and giggles. Next thing I know I started to be part of a group.

Shiny B is one of those people that I just seemed to connect with. We started meeting away from the site and talking on Yahoo. We got along and others started to join. Opal, Gayla and Kitt all were writing to and we were having some fun. I felt than we could do more but since most times I suck at my english I was so not the one to take it to the next level. Than this chick from Cally came into the mix.

Now the other woman I have talked about are all talented. Great writers and people that I would and have offered to help on numerous occasions. This chick Winter though you could tell she had been writing for awhile. I played along and wrote with her but felt like a tard cause of her skills. Not like I didnt with the others to but with her especially.

I got to know her better and figured her out a little more. Yeah she works at a cemetary, is so alot damn smarter than me when it comes to computers, is a Crue nut, and has a kid that she could gladly kill somedays. Yeah like any parnet doesnt feel like that at least one a week. Winter is also a good friend.

She has made each of us at the Bar Story write better. One day I called her my muse. It is the truth. She has inspired me to write beyond what I thought I could. Winter is that someone that does make you better. Not only as a writer but also as a person. All my Divas do.

The one thing I can do for my girl is to pimp her ass out. If you are looking for something intersting to read and want to try something with a little more flavor click over there on my Bar Story link. Yeah my stuff is there to but I mainly make ya laugh. Winter and Shiny can make ya cry, snort and laugh all at the same time. Come spring 2009 everyone better be watching out for my girl Lex Valentine I.E. Winter. She will give you something to read alright.

Veteran's day

It is the one day out of the year that I actually feel proud to be apart of. Yes I am a veteran of the Bosina campiagn. I volunteered to go over there and serve. I was there 6 months and didnt feel like I did a damn thing until the end.

We drove the biggest damn trucks out there so it was not exactly easy to get around. Basically we were always on alert to go do something but the order just never came down. We hoped we would get to go get the wreckage of a shot down plane but NNNOOOOO let the damn engineers go have all the fun.

When things really felt like I was doing something important was during a mission in the last 2 months. We had to take some tanks up to the border area. They were coming up on election time and felt like things might get out of hand. We moved them up to the area and passed some buildings that had been destroyed during the war.

I had never seen anything so sad. It is like the worst testement to human nature I have ever seen in my life. You would pass these buildings and see a couple small holes in the front but once you got to the backside the holes were huge. How can one person honestly try to destroy another just cause they believe in something different? It is a question that I just cant wrap my brain around it.

Or maybe I just dont want to wrap it around the whole thing. I want to believe that the human race does actually do good but with everything that is going on in the world it is hard to tell my kids that. I want them to think that the majority of folks out there dont want to kill another but reality kicks in and I know they will learn the truth. Is it better for them to know that they can help protect others or is it better to tell them not to and let others die to protect them?

I am proud of my time in the service. I went to a country that has been at war for over 50 years. I went to another country that had been tore apart by war. I had accepted the fact that I might one day die for my country and was a peace with it. I was even in a bunker when we our guys were bombing the hell out of Yugoslvina. SO yeah I faced a fear that I might die as well as much as one person could.

I lived my life that way for 5 years. I would not regret a single moment of that time. Yes I am proud to be a veteran. If you know of one tell them thanks. The wervice aint all party and roses. It is hard work with plenty of blood thrown in.

Sick weekend

Yeah I was sick all weekend long. Well expect for saturday morning. After that I came home and that was it. I was in bed with trips to the bathroom in bewteen. I have actually slept so much that I have a headache.

Minus that this saturday morning was a good weekend. The girl scouts went to the Gaston Center here in the area and learned not only about water and why it is so important but also got to see a great site. A wonderful lady who is 82 and still travels around educated all of us about some birds of prey.

She had a beatiful Horned Owl named ET. The female bird was beatiful and made the girls very aware of how great they are to have. I didnt know that they loved to kill skunks. We even got to see her fly across the room. Just a great bird to see.

She also brought in a vulture. Yeah I thought they were ugly to but this one is a unique one. It is supposed to be the bird of Mexico but I guess they even agrue about that. It did a really cool thing to. When it yelled it threw it's head backwards. Like bent it backwards. Freaky as hell but what a cool trick.

The girl and us leaders learned alot. It also made me think how great it would have been if we would have one of those owl's out here and kill that skunk last week. m Instead the animal control guy decided why shot it let's run it over with my truck. Yeah smooth move ex-lax. It still stinks and that was thursday.

It's over & the weiner is......

No more maps please!! If I see one more red/blue map I am going to gag. It over and the people have spoken. The wanted change and boy are we going to get it.

I am in the miniorty part of the population. I voted for the old white guy and the hot white chick. I really thought he could make the right kind of change we needed. Oh well we'll just have to wait and see if I am wrong or right.

I did get one good joke about Obama beign elected. Did ya hear that Dick Cheney asked Obama to go hunting? See ya'll we are goign to be ok!

I like that one cause of the way it makes fun of both parties not just one. Plus after the other jokes I got this one is the most tasteful. Cant wait to see how many more bad ones come across the text wires.

Not the Red Blue Map!!!

Here we go again. Time for that damn map. Which color is our state going to be? Which candiate is going to win and lead the country either to ruin or on the road back? Crap is going to be a long ass tuesday.

My hubbie is addicted to the political maps. He seems to get a semi woody when he sees the red and blue. He will stay up until 5 in the morning to see which guy wins. I just hope he wont do that cause I swear if he bitches about being tired I will smack him in the head.

I will watch for a little while but than give up and go to bed. I take my right to vote seriously. I have seen what happens when the country decides to fight rather than vote. I just pray that this country never sees that.

So all I am asking of each and everyone of my readers is one simple thing. It will proably take a little while but if you look at what could happen if you dont it is down right scary. Go vote. Go into the little booth and push the button, dark that circle, or do whatever it is your state does. One vote does matter. Remember the 2000 election was decided by 578 votes. That is not alot people.

Even if you dont think your views matter they do. If you vote enough for the things you believe in than they will come true. If not hey go run and spread the word. That is the coolest thing about our country. We can do something to make a difference.
GO VOTE!!!!! GO VOTE!!!!!! GO VOTE!!!!!!! GO VOTE!!!!!!!! NO REALLY GO VOTE!!!!!

Halloween inspritation

It is that time of the year again. Time to dress up like something totally out there. Or you can dress up like you favortie person ever or even as well nothing. In my house this is a great time of year.

I have tried to make it fun for the kids. Every year I ask them to help me put decorations up and to figure out what everyone is going to dress up as. I think it gets them doing just that thinking. Use your imagination kids, later on in life that might be the one thing that makes you unique.

As you can see from my profile picture this uniqueness is even used on our pumpkins. I figure that is a great family photo for this time of year. It is a perfect representation of us all. Me looking at the kids like they better act good. Josh being evil, Liz beign Liz, Mac with his binky, and Spence being Spence. Cant at all tell which parnet the kids take after huh??

SO my challenge to each of you is to use your imagination. Get your kids involved and dont let them kill it. Just cause you grow up doesnt mean you have to get rid of that part of you. Just think if those guys that make the movies and books you love had given theirs up?? Sad thought huh.

Tempting fate

I am not the smartest person out there but I know not to tempt fate. I have a feeling this couples fate is going to be really unattractive.

Thou Shalt Not Steal may have been a better topic

FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- Authorities are looking for two people who allegedly stole a preacher's wallet and went on a shopping spree while he was giving a sermon about showing mercy to others.

The Rev. Rob Hamby was the guest preacher at Fort Worth Presbyterian Church on Sunday when his briefcase was stolen from the church office. Security cameras caught images of a man and woman.

"What troubles me is that they would go to the church, not for help but to steal. I am shocked and frustrated that these people did it. But more than anything, I feel kind of sorry for them," Hamby said in Monday's online edition of The Dallas Morning News.

The newspaper reported that about $2,000 in purchases were made on his credit and debit cards before he finished preaching, including the purchase of a $676 diamond ring. In addition to his wallet, Hamby's computer valued at $2,600 was taken.

Hamby, who works as a campus minister at Texas Christian University, said he could have understood if the thieves used his credit cards to buy essentials but not luxuries that they did not need.

I wonder what might just happen to this couple when fate or god decides to kick their ass? I just hope I am nowhere within a 50 mile radius of these dumbfucks.

HOLY TURKEY!!!!

Yes it is that time again here in the Ozark Mountains....Turkey Trot!!!!
This fun 2 days of bands, food, crafty stuff, food, parade, and did I metion the food, is here again. I think this is the 86 or 87th year this has been going on.

Time time time

I never seem to have enough but when I do have it I am to pooped to use it. Especially lately. I have been trying to take 4 classes but it is just not doing. I have to drop Physical Science. Not like I am not happy about this. I have no freaking clue what I was doing in that class anyway.

I did find out some good news though. I have 51 and half credit hours from all my previous attempts at college and the army. I had no clue that I had done that much work. I have the bill to prove it though.

Hopefully these means that I am closer to graduating than I thought. Even if it takes a year off of my time I would be happy. I really want to get out there and do the whole teaching thing. I also really want to coach a team my way. Plus, if I can get a job that makes me happy that is a bonus.

Guess we will have to see what happens there. I promised to get a video of the annual Turkey Trot dropping this weekend for my friends Winter and Shiny. I am working out those details now and promise to post them here for all to see. Hey maybe I will get more than 4 readers. Wouldnt that be something??

Leader in training

Did you hear it again?? Yes that was me getting sucked intot he abyss called Girl Scouts. Dont get me wrong, I think it is an excellent organization that I am proud to be apart of. Teaches girls what some parnets forget to teach.

I am trying to teach my kid the right things. Respect yourself, you have a choice in what is done to you and what you do to others, a leader is something to be proud of and take seriously, you got to take care of what is around you, and treat others the way you want to be treated. So far it is working but she also is not the most popular kid. I would rather see her with a core group of kids that are good rather than have a bunch that are shits anyway.

Anyway, we went on a camping trip last weekend. First, my ass doesnt fit inside a sleeping bag like it used to. I was once able to do the nasty inside one during my army carrer. Now though only nasty I am doing inside of one is making certain noises out my ass.

Second, even though my ass is not a normal small size it still can hike with the best of them. They asked me to go on a little hike that was bout 1 and a little bit more long. I had been on the trail before and said hell yeah lets go. It has a great view at the end that is so worth the walk.

So I get my little camo bag out and put what I need in it. Knife, water, trail mix, flahslight, cell phone (I get all bars), camera, first aid kit, and more water. Off we go and right away I hear, "Are we on the trail yet?" There are woods all around us......No we are on the way to a freaking calm bake. I kept the smartassness inside and said yes.

We kept going and I swear I have never heard a bigger bunch of whinny kids in my life. I was proud of my daughter though. Not a word, she just kept trucking on. I was even going so slow that she was wondering what was wrong with me. I stopped 2 times so they could get pictures and take a drink. Pictures check, drink of water no. WTF!!!!

By the half mile marker they were ready to turn around. Hell I dont even think we hit the half mile marker. The other adults were like we better turn around now cause we have to make dinner and stuff. We made freaking hot dogs people. I started the fire to. So much for lead by example for these girls.

I guess I shouldnt bitch to much but come on. You can walk a fucking mile people!! I bet if we had been in a mall they would have walked my feet off. I know I am bitching but damn I really hate that the girls could not see the view of the damn from the top. Girl Scouts are supposed to want to take care of nature and see it to. If I am wrong than so be it but honestly I dont think I am.

Energy anyone??

I am drained and not feeling it. I should be doing my homework but nah. I got till Friday, I think, to finish it. I work better under the gun anyway.
I really need to write out my post for the the bar but it just isnt coming to me.
I really need to get off my butt and do some repairs around here so I can get paid. Cant save up for my next motorcycle if I dont.
I really need to spend more time with the kids together not seperate. I just got done going on a camping trip with Liz's girl scout troop. We had a blast but well considering it was the girl scouts there was no booze involoved. Camping is so much better with booze.
I need to get some before my 2 games tomorrow. The season is almost over. Only 2 more weeks left so I can push myself through it. My knees are killing me though so this might be intersting.
OK I am off to go drive another buse route. I am taking all the routes I can to get some extra moola into the house. I missed some of the kids this morning so this might be an intersting experience. All I can say is if you arent out there where we can see ya how you expect us to pick you up??? Least I didnt have to talk to the parnets.

Voting women

THIS IS MOVING. HOW QUICKLY WE FORGET.....IF ....WE EVER KNEW......

WHY WOMEN SHOULD VOTE

This is the story of our Grandmothers and Great-grandmothers; they lived only 90 years ago.

Remember, it was not until 1920that women were granted the right

to go to the polls and vote.

The women were innocent and defenseless, but they were jailed
nonetheless for picketing the White House, carrying signs asking
for the vote.

And by the end of the night, they were barely alive.
Forty prison guards wielding clubs and their warden's blessing
went on a rampage against the 33 women wrongly convicted of
'obstructing sidewalk traffic.'

(Lucy Burns)
They beat Lucy Burns, chained her hands to the cell bars above
her head and left her hanging for the night, bleeding and gasping
for air.

(Dora Lewis)
They hurled Dora Lewis into a dark cell, smashed her
head against an iron bed and knocked her out cold. Her cellmate,
Alice Cosu, thought Lewis was dead and suffered a heart attack.
Additional affidavits describe the guards grabbing, dragging,
beating, choking, slamming, pinching, twisting and kicking the women.

Thus unfolded the 'Night of Terror' on Nov. 15, 1917,
when the warden at the Occoquan Workhouse in Virginia ordered his
guards to teach a lesson to the suffragists imprisoned there because
they dared to picket Woodrow Wilson's White House for the right
to vote.
For weeks, the women's only water came from an open pail. Their
food--all of it colorless slop--was infested with worms.

(Alice Paul)
When one of the leaders, Alice Paul, embarked on a hunger strike, they tied her to a chair, forced a tube down her throat and poured liquid into her until she vomited. She was tortured like this for weeks
until word was smuggled out to the press.
http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/collections/suffrage/nwp/prisoners.pdf

So, refresh my memory. Some women won't vote this year because-
-why, exactly? We have carpool duties? We have to get to work?
Our vote doesn't matter? It's raining?

Last week, I went to a sparsely attended screening of HBO's new
movie 'Iron Jawed Angels.' It is a graphic depiction of the battle
these women waged so that I could pull the curtain at the polling
booth and have my say. I am ashamed to say I needed the reminder.

All these years later, voter registration is still my passion. But the
actual act of voting had become less personal for me, more rote.
Frankly, voting often felt more like an obligation than a privilege.
Sometimes it was inconvenient.

My friend Wendy, who is my age and studied women's history,
saw the HBO movie, too. When she stopped by my desk to talk
about it, she looked angry. She was--with herself. 'One thought
kept coming back to me as I watched that movie,' she said.
'What would those women think of the way I use, or don't use,
my right to vote? All of us take it for granted now, not just
younger women, but those of us who did seek to learn.' The
right to vote, she said, had become valuable to her 'all over again.'

HBO released the movie on video and DVD . I wish all history,
social studies and government teachers would include the movie in
their curriculum I want it shown on Bunco night, too, and anywhere
else women gather. I realize this isn't our usual idea of socializing,
but we are not voting in the numbers that we should be, and I think
a little shock therapy is in order.

It is jarring to watch Woodrow Wilson and his cronies try to persuade a psychiatrist to declare Alice Paul insane so that she could be permanently institutionalized. And it is inspiring to watch the doctor refuse. Alice Paul was strong, he said, and brave. That didn't make her crazy.

The doctor admonished the men: 'Courage in women is often mistaken for insanity.'

Please, if you are so inclined, pass this on to all the women you know.

We need to get out and vote and use this right that was fought so
hard for by these very courageous women. Whether you vote democratic, republican or independent party - remember to vote.

History is being made.

Pass this on to all the strong willed women you know. Are you courageous enough??

Wanna know some where I dont think I will go. Read on and guess.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Portland Police took a waterfront Lady Godiva down a notch this week. Barely. They were getting calls about a nude skater whizzing past tourists and rush-hour commuters.

But you can do that in Oregon, where occasional nude bike rides draw police only for crowd control and shows featuring live sex acts are protected as free speech.

The skater, Gennifer Moss, aka Earth Friend Gen, asked organizers for permission this summer to skate naked in the city of Ashland's Fourth of July parade. She didn't get it.

Police told her to tone it down after construction workers complained.

Moss donned a string bikini bottom for the nonce and skated on.

Police say most callers are concerned about her safety.

There are no other words I could say here.

What can you do when the state cant find its ass with both hands?

I am at a breaking point here and wondering what in the hell I should do. I got a call form my doc saying something is just not right with my "womanly" part. They dont know for sure what it is and want me to come in for more tests. Oh yeah.
First, I do care for myself so none of you tell me to hurry up and get in there. I am working on it but cant really afford to go the doc. Second, I have tried to get help to pay for it. The answer, well you are to young. TO young to be sick???? WTF????
I am working on the financing part of this. The nice finance person says we can do payments with a certain amount up front. I am making the appointment this week so we will see what happens.
The part that really gets me is how I am to young to be getting help. Like you have to be over 40 to get cancer or something that else bad. Come on people that is government bullshit. I know I am not the only one that has had to put up with this but it really is getting under my skin.
I am just glad that I did not do what this person did though.....

Troubled teen left at Ark. governor’s office
By CHUCK BARTELS • Associated Press Writer • September 11, 2008

LITTLE ROCK -- A woman who worked at the mayor’s office in Jonesboro dropped off her 18-year-old “daughter” at the state Capitol in Little Rock along with a letter, telling Gov. Mike Beebe and his wife to take the girl in for a week.

Brenda Sipa had reached a point of desperation in trying to find care for the special-needs girl, who is the child of a relative, according to Sipa’s letter and people who have dealt with her on the matter.

Sipa regretted her act later in the day, but by the time she called the Capitol to say she had made a mistake, the girl had already been taken in by a local agency.

Authorities said Sipa drove from Jonesboro on Monday to leave the teenager with the governor. A Capitol Police officer saw the teenager wandering the halls in the middle of the day and asked if she needed help. The teenager replied that her mother had told her to deliver some papers to the governor’s office and that she was waiting for her to get back from shopping.

An officer called Sipa and told her to come pick up the young woman, but Sipa said she’d done all she could, according to a report by Capitol Police Chief Darrell Hedden.
Beebe spokesman Matt DeCample said staff members were familiar with Sipa’s difficulties and had tried to provide the family guidance.

“This was not the first time we had heard about this case,” DeCample said, but added that the governor himselve was not involved in the matter.
Hedden said in his report that Sipa wrote to Beebe that she had had increasing trouble caring for the teenager.

“She is all yours to try and figure out. All I ask is that you take her home with you for a week. You will see how sweet and innocent she can be,” Sipa wrote. But the letter said the teenager would also have bouts of difficult behavior.

Capitol Police officers brought the young woman to an assistance center in Little Rock on Monday afternoon.

Hedden said that after Sipa called from Jonesboro, he told her where the young woman had been taken and how to get in touch so she could bring her back home.
Jonesboro Mayor Doug Formon said Thursday that Sipa had been turned away by five or six agencies from which she sought help in the last year.

“There was always one thing that didn’t fit the puzzle just right,” Formon said. At least once, Sipa was told that she could get help if the young woman was 21 years old.
“I think it was basically the bureaucracy of it all” that led Sipa to Little Rock, Formon said. “She has tried 110 percent over the last year to get her placed somewhere.”
Formon said he’d spoken with Beebe and that the governor’s office had cut through some red tape and had placed the girl.

“Once it got to the governor’s office, they did take control of it. They are helping her now,” he said.

Beebe’s office didn’t offer details on where the girl was Thursday and a spokeswoman from the Arkansas Department of Human Services didn’t return a call for comment. Sipa didn’t respond to a call for comment.

Sipa was administrative assistant to the mayor but she submitted her resignation. Formon said he did not accept the resignation and that, after meeting with her Tuesday, he was trying to find a less stressful position for Sipa. In the meantime, she was on leave, he said.

WOW that is how you get someones damn attention. Maybe I should just stand naked out front of the state run office that I called and wait for someone to ask me what I was doing. Funny part I really think it wouldnt take that long and they would take my ass to jail.

Fish flies out of lake, breaks Arkansas teen's jaw

So here is a story right out of my state. One of those things you have to just be like wow. Hell of a story you would have to come up with to.

Fish flies out of lake, breaks Arkansas teen's jaw

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- It's a fishing tale that packs a wallop so strong it broke the jaw of a southeastern Arkansas teen and covered him in fish blood and guts.

Seth Russell, 15, of Crossett, was cruising Lake Chicot on a large inner tube towed by a boat when a Silver Asian carp leaped from the water and smacked him in the face. Seth was knocked unconscious.

"He doesn't remember anything at all," the boy's mother, Linda Russell, said last week. "He was laughing, and the next thing he remembers, he is waking in a hospital."

The teen has had oral surgery to wire several teeth together and still experiences back pain that doctors attribute to whiplash from the high-speed collision, his mother said.

He's not the only one who's has a run-in with the "flying" Silver Asian carp.

"They do not fly, but they are quite good jumpers," said Carole Engle, director of aquaculture and the fisheries center at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. "Over the past year, we have had some calls about fish jumping and causing injuries on Lake Chicot.

"Their jumping behavior is a problem, and their population appears to be growing there," Engle said.

Silver Asian carp were first imported to the United States in the 1970s. Catfish farmers brought them here to remove algae and other suspended matter from their ponds. The Environmental Protection Agency started a program allowing cities to use the fish to help clean the water in sewer treatment plant ponds.

Now would you A)tell the truth or B)say something else that would make you sound a lot better than a fish jumped up and hit you in the face. I guess you could say that things were cool and than you had to fight some dude half your size for your family's honor. Yeah that sounds good.

hum

Ok this story made me laugh and wonder why. I has to share it with you all so you to could laugh.
Man in wheelchair robs Texas 7-Eleven of condoms

DALLAS (AP) -- A robber rolled into a Dallas convenience store came armed with a bat and a knife. He left with a lot of condoms and an energy drink.

Dallas police Cpl. Kevin Janse said Friday that a man in a wheelchair entered a Dallas 7-Eleven Wednesday afternoon, rolled straight toward the cash register and beat it with a baseball bat until it opened.

But he didn't grab any cash. Instead, police say he stole 10 boxes of condoms and an energy drink before making his getaway Wednesday afternoon.

Janse says the suspect may have been homeless and was likely intoxicated at the time of the robbery.

I guess what they say about Texas is right. Everything is bigger in Texas, including stupidty. Now if I only knew what he needed those for? Ok on second thought, maybe I shouldnt ask why.

Who knew

So I was sitting there with my little guy and had the tv on. We had just gotten done with "Tom and Jerry", one of his favs. I turned it over to VH1 but it had on something stupid so flip up one and Fox news is annoucing that McCain has picked an VP.
I thought ok he is going to pick a black guy or some semi young white guy. That would be like a death axe in my view. Instead he picks a Woman! WOW!!! That was out of leftfield for me. Seems Mr. McCain is smarter than he let on. That my friends is the right move.
Got to somehow get that Hillary vote to their side. He is listening to some smart folks if he is going after that vote to. Most of them where looking to do their level best to get the Democrats into a frenzy at the convention.
Now let's see about this chick. Has 5 kids, one with down syndrome. After she had the kid was back into the office within 3 days. Likes to hunt, fish and does alot of outdoors stuff. Will tell ya straight up if you wrong. You can ask those that she kicked out of office for doing the wrong thing. Palin has a almost 90% approval rating in her state.
Ok I am impressed by her. Seems Mrs. Palin has her head on straight and actually listens to her state folks. Isnt that a new thing in polticis. This move has made me really start to look at the candiates a little more.
Do I want to vote for someone that just grabbed a white guy to try to get the good ole boy vote. Or do I want to vote for the old white guy with a woman that is not going to take shit? Damn this is going to be a tougher vote than last election. I really hope I do better this time than last time. I really screwed up voting for damn W.

Reneck Tuesday

OK I have found a story worthy of rednecking. Imagine this but it was in my own state. I know hard to imagine in Arkansas but we do have plenty of rednecks.

Dynamite sale: Explosives at Ark. estate sale

MAYFLOWER, Ark. (AP) -- Auctioneers preparing for an estate sale Saturday morning made an explosive discovery among the china and other items up for bid - a suitcase full of military-grade explosives.

The rusted, padlocked suitcase sat alongside a porcelain coffee service set, decorative enamel-finished eggs, a vintage gas-powered model of the 1965 Chaparral II race car prototype and other goods at the backyard sale.

Auctioneers finally opened the suitcase just before the sale and found three blocks of military-grade C-4 plastic explosive, two tubes of a similar plastic explosive, a blasting cap and some dynamite.

Workers quickly called 911 and the Conway Fire Department's bomb squad collected the materials. The bomb squad put the aging explosives inside a special container and drove them out to an isolated spot to destroy them, district chief Jon McMahon told the Log Cabin Democrat newspaper.

The auction went on as planned.

Faulkner County sheriff's office Maj. Andy Shock said the explosives had deteriorated over time and likely were at least 15 years old. Shock said that age put the C-4 at the outer limits of its shelf life if it had been stored under dry, ideal conditions. The major said the explosives likely weren't.

Shock said some of the items at the estate sale belonged to a U.S. Navy veteran who recently died. He said deputies continued to investigate the incident, but charges weren't likely as the presumed owner of the explosives is dead.

But just in case there was any doubt, Faulkner County Sheriff Karl Byrd made sure to stress that owning dynamite or plastic explosives without permission is "definitely illegal."

---

And here I thought it was a good idea to have that TNT. Never know when you might need to blow the hell out of something. My only question is why did the guy have it? Was it a a memory from the good ole days in the Navy? Hell I served to but didnt bring home anything that could blow the hell out of myself and others as a reminder. Why couldnt he just buy a coffee cup or t-shirt like the rest of us?

It's a crime spree I tell ya!!

I cant help but post this. I know some of you will be like well duh dumb shits. Now let me tell ya before you say that remember I live in the woods here and everyone leaves their cars and trucks unlocked. I lock mine cause I got in the habit of it when I lived in Iowa. Big cities equal that I know. Just read and than tell me duh you dumbshits.

A spree of theft from mostly unlocked vehicles in Mountain Home and rural Baxter County is likely the work of the same thief or group of thieves, according to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery.

Montgomery said Sunday he began collaborating with the Mountain Home Police Department last week when the spree spread from the Indian Creek in Mountain Home to the Contemporary East subdivision in Baxter County that adjoins the city. He noted that cars and trucks parked at camp sites and marinas have also been the target of thieves. A common thread runs through many of the incidents, the sheriff said.

"In the vast majority of these incidents the victims left their vehicles unlocked," the sheriff said. "I think what we have here is someone walking through neighborhoods checking parked vehicles and stealing whatever they find from the ones they find unlocked.

"I believe it's the same thieves moving from one neighborhood to the next," the sheriff said. "I'm confident we're going to catch them."

The spree includes theft Thursday of a 38-caliber Smith and Wesson pistol from an unlocked vehicle at the residence of Kenneth Treat on Magnolia Court.

A GPS unit owned by M.B. Moore of Mountain Home was stolen from Moore's unlocked vehicle parked outside his residence on Holly Grove Drive in Mountain Home. A garage door opener in the vehicle was then used to enter a garage where property valued at $650 was stolen.

The sheriff said vehicles were ransacked in some cases and it is unclear if anything was stolen.

The Mountain Home Police Department took theft reports last week on properties worth a combined total of about $3,000 dollars from five vehicles in Indian Creek subdivision.

The sheriff said the best and most immediate defense is to lock vechiles.

See I told you that you would want to say duh. Yeah we aint the smartest folks in the world but these dumbasses are going to get their ass shot. That older lady up in Pennsyilvia that did that last week aint going to have nothing on what these folks around here are going to do.
The funniest part to me is that the majority of folks that live around here now all retired from up by Chicago or some other big city. Now tell me why you wont lock your car when you have to have one that is almost fucking bullet proof to drive through certain parts in Chi-town? The amazing things people do.

Sing damn you sing

I was flipping through channels the other day and came upon Ellen Degrenes doing her thing. She had a intersting point on a sad affair. Why dont people sing anymore in their cars? Majority of the time they are either talking on the phone, putting makeup on or shaving.

Come on people like you really dont have enough time to shave before you get out the door. I am guilty about talking on the phone but only when I need to. Makeup no way and shaving ummmm not in the car.

I am already the one you see jamming along. I have cd's made for just the occasion. One for before softball and after. When I am feeling like singing a little ABBA goes a long way. My ipod is jammed packed full of songs that I know and love. Nothing like rapping along with Snoop while you are on the way to a doc's appt.

So I asking everyone i know to hang up, put the marscra down and dont even think bout shaving. Lets get back to the time when you would turn on the radio and jam. Put a Cd in and sing along to your fav songs. You know you want to.

Redneck Tuesday

OK this isnt exactly major rednecking but this ranks up there with smooth move ex-lax. Basically what I say when someone pulls a redneck moment.

RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Fire investigators have come up with an unusual cause of a blaze that damaged a home in Reno - spider killing. Reno Fire Battalion Chief Rick Kajans said a teenager was using fire to try to kill spiders Sunday afternoon when he accidentally set a fence on fire that then also burned part of his home on Neil Road.

The fire burned through a wall and damaged a kitchen ceiling before firefighters put it out.

Kajans said he doubts the 17-year-old boy will be charged with any crime because the fire is being ruled accidental

Let's think about this one. Fire plus being in a freaking desert surronding. Naw nothing can go wrong.

Now if this would have been my kid we would be taking back anything special he has...dvd's, TV, playstation and the like. Somebody is going to be paying for that shit to be repaired. Oh look you just volunteered dumbass.

Am I be mean?? I dont think so but hey the only way to keep your kids not pulling dumb shit is to keep them in line. I luv mine but also am not afarid to kick their ass when they need it. Have a good Tuesday!!

Support group

HI my name is Mary and I am addicted to blogging. This is my first time admiting that. Wow what a weight off my shoulders. I have only been blogging for a couple months but it has just sucked me in. IS it wrong that I have to read my blogs first before I go to work or everything feels off?

I couldnt find anything worthy enough to post for renecking Tuesday. Nobody did anything stupid enough I guess. That means it was a slow week for the cops. There was the Model T truck wreck. Somebody lost some money on that.

Speaking of money I need to find a way to get some more. I have been applying for other jobs just trying to find something that actually pays me. This job is a soul sucker.

Perfect example of this, my boss got a e-mail from one of my tenants. This one is someone that is always on edge. Has some issues that I am not even touching. Anyway she complained about things that we had either A. taken care of or B. were in the process of being taken care of.

I can understand that she is mad that someone keeps getting into her place. She is thinking it is her sister cause they only take like a movie or something like that. We have changed her lock twice now and not charged her for it. Her window needs to be fixed but they dotn even make the damn thing anymore. We have had our Head maintenance guy informed of this for 2 months now and he has yet to show up. How is that my fault??

All I wish is that she would just seriously take us at our word of we are doing everything possible to help. Only thing left for us to do is camp outside her door when she is not there. Yeah I have a life so not doing that. The police have even stepped up their patorling of our place for her.

If anybody has any ideas on what I can do I am open to hearing them. Not much more I can think to do but I am opening myself up for any suggestions. IF bloggnation cant think of something than I am doing everything right. That would be a first.

Freak me out Thrusday

I hope everyone enjoyed my Redneck Tuesday moment. I will be trying to find the perfect redneck story to put up every tuesday from now on. Just remember, you can be a redneck even in the city....

My buddy Winter did this color test and I thought why not. Lets see what BS it blows out. Ok never saying that again. Talk about hitting shit right on the head.
"Feels obstructed in her desires and prevented from obtaining the things she regards as essential."

How the hell did they know that?? IT went on talking about my relationships and crap that hit it right to.

"Delights in the tasteful, the gracious, and the sensitive, but maintains her attitude of critical appraisal and refuses to be swept off her feet unless genuineness and integrity can be absolutely vouched for. Therefore keeps a strict and watchful control on her emotional relationships as she must know exactly where she stands. Demands complete sincerity as a protection against her own tendency to be too trusting.
Demanding and particular in her relations with her partner or those close to her. but careful to avoid open conflict since this might reduce her prospects of realizing her hopes and ideas.
Feels that she cannot do much about her existing problems and difficulties and that she must make the best of things as they are. Able to achieve satisfaction from sexual activity.

Circumstances are such that she feels forced to compromise for the time being if she is to avoid being cut off from affection or from full participation.

Seeks affectionate, satisfying and harmonious relationships. Desires an intimate union, in which there is a love, self-sacrifice and mutual trust

Needs to protect herself against her tendency to be too trusting, as she finds it is liable to be misunderstood or exploited by others. Is therefore seeking a relationship providing peaceful and understanding intimacy, and in which each knows exactly where the other stands."

Yeah that me. Those bastards know way to much about me. It makes me feel like someone is looking over my shoulder. *Turns looking out window* I am going to be on my toes all damn day now.

I am not going to be the only one freaked out by this. Ya'll go try it to: http://www.colorquiz.com/

Redneck way to get the man to do the dishes

I couldnt help myself cause ladies we have all been to this point before just never was crazy enough to do it. Read on:

A Midway woman was arrested Monday for allegedly shooting at her boyfriend for not doing dishes and laundry, according to a Baxter County Sheriff’s Office news release.

About 5:30 p.m., authorities responded to the domestic disturbance on Buford Road.Michelle L. , 28, allegedly told offers she had shot twice at her boyfriend, Mark W. , 43, of Mountain Home, according to the release. The two started arguing and during the fight, Michelle grabbed a .22-caliber pistol and shot at Mark twice as he was running away through the yard, according to the release.
Michelle allegedly told officers she only shot twice because that was all the bullets that were in the gun and that he was lucky she missed, according to the release. Officers discovered there were more bullets in the gun but it had misfired after the first two rounds were discharged, according to the release.
Michelle was charged with aggravated assault on a family member, a felony, and public intoxication, a misdemeanor. She later was charged with terroristic threatening, a felony, after telling officers at the jail that once she was released, she was going to shoot Mark and kill him, according to the release. She remains in the Baxter County jail with bail at $100,000.
Mark was charged with assault on a family member, a misdemeanor. He was booked into jail and released after posting a $505 bond.

Ok yeah it proably does happen elsewhere but where else would the chick be that stupid and say I going to kill the bastard after I get out of jail. Yeah sometimes the hubbie pisses me off but not that much. I at least got to give her a small clap for giving the guy a running start. Nothing like running prey to get the blood pumping.
There is my redneck tuesday moment. Hey that sounds like a good idea. RT anyone??

Weekend Bear

I hope everyone had a good weekend. I was by myself with my boys the majority of the weekend. My little girl was a busy chicky this weekend. A trip to Celebration City in Branson and than church yesterday. I am surpised she even woke up this morning.

I also got something very beary special from my friend Winter. I got Beared!! Wow that sounds bad. Reminds me of a joke that I am not going to share.....this time. She was given it by Karl and he by Dawg. The orginal bear giver who seems to love the Vermont Bear Company.

SO basically the rules are pretty easy:
1. The Beary Best Award is given to those people who we want to know we care… just because
2. See rule #1

You Are The Beary Best

Here on my people that I believe should get this lofty present:
1. Winter....of course. She has pimped me out how can I not give this to her.
2. Shiny B....Luv ya girl even when you have no idea what is happening.
3. Jen... Even though we dont talk as much as we used to I still luv's her and wonder where my book is??? ;)
4. Charlene....She does so much for others. Throwing a little luv her way should be the perfect thing to let her know that it all ok.
5. Christy.... my sister and a lurker here. Come on sis, I dont have that many readers. You gotta at least show some comment luv my way once.
6. Stacy.... Sister in-law that I give it up to. I can stand Damon only for a little. You being married to him is power to ya *throws fist in the air*

I would give one to my hubbie but he dont read my blog. Which in hindsight is a good thing. I need a place to bitch, make fun of and plot ways to kill him. OK the last part is a little exterme but hey better to be prepared.

Ya'll try to keep cool today and remember to give your loved ones a hug.

Funny at wally world

Oh shit I got a great story for ya'll. If I wasnt laughing so much I would have taken a picture but you cant do that when you are laughing so hard you cry. And just so I can get it out right now here is my disclaimer: I love my hubbie I truly do but I cant help but laugh when he is in pain. Sorry honey.
Now the story:

My little girl Liz was at church with mom and I thought it would be good to take Josh and Mac with us to a nice lunch. Whatever Josh wanted. I felt bad cause he is the middle child and well he can get lost in the mix. That is he would if he would shut up.
SO he picks chiense and away we go. Closest is in Mountain Home and that is 20 minutes away. We get there and just our luck get the tail end of the church crowd. Personally think it is a great time to go cause at a buffet you get the freshest food than. Bad part is how dang noisely those folks are.
We eat and than go to Walmart to look at all the Thomas tank engine toys. These are my Josh's fav along with any thing on wheels. He was looking and telling us everything he wanted for his b-day which is at the end of December. After picking out everything and than some I thought it would be cool to show him the big Hulk hands.
You know the big green ones that when banged together say things like "HULK SMASH" & "HULK MAD." He loves them and wants them real bad. Well I was looking at Mac and making him smile when I hear this squeal. I turn and see Derek on his knees holding his crotch right there in the middle of Wally World.
OK I a bad wife cause rather than make sure he is ok I started laughing. I did take the gloves away from Josh though. Especially after he hit him again in the head and back. Best part was when he hit him the loveable gloves said,"HULK SMASH!!"
I know you are laughing dont lie. I still am and this was yesterday. When Derek finally said something it was, "I think I have ovaries now." It took about 30 minutes until he felt semi normal. I am sure it will take days until something even funnier takes it place or he gets smashed in the balls again by his sons.
I just thought ya'll would enjoy this small peice of my life. It isnt all roses but there sure are some hellious burst of daisy's.

Mamma Mia here I go again!!

I saw the movie last night and cant get the songs out of my head. I just wanna shake my ass and sing as loud as i can. And none of ya'll tell me you havent heard a ABBA song and not wanted to. They are just to danceable to not want to.

I have seen the touring broadway version and was worried that they would screw it up....thank god they didnt. They made it to make you laugh, cry and want to sing and dance, just like the broadway one. I love this version and will own it as soon as it comes out.

Meryl Streep has an amazing voice. The way she can sing the song and push out the emotions to is wow. IF she does not get an oscar nod for this they have no freaking clue what they are doing.

Chritisan Baransky, who you may remember from that show Cybill or the grinch's love interst in the Jim Carrey version, is a great cougar in this one. I loved her parts. My fav charater though is Rosie played Julie Walters. She has been in some of the Harry Potter movies as Mrs. Weasley. She is a freaking hiliarous person. Always has a quick comeback or funny word.

If you wanna go see a movie that is perfect for a girls night out or even just to have a good time SEE THIS ONE. Yeah you will come out of the theater singing to. Dont lie ya'll know some of the words to a ABBA song. Go see this one!!!

OK I can do this

I was checking out my girl Winter's blog and really enjoyed her take on this tag. I thought hell I can answer these questions. I at least I can. Might have to rack my brain a little for some of the answers but hell I didnt drink last night I can do this.

Where were you ten years ago?
I cant not actualy tell you the exact place cause I was proably hung over or drunk but I know I was in Fort Hood, Texas. I was serving with the army. I worked hard and played even harder. You name the bar there I may remember being in it. If not I was proably in it but todrunk to remember. Yes I drank a lot but I also did alot of cool things there.

5 Things on your to do list
1. Fold the clothes.
2. Move the book case. This is going to be a hell of a job.
3. Just relax. Nto much to do thsi weekend and Hubbie is gone to National Guard.
4. Keep house clean
5. Softball pratice this weekend. My woman's league team is going to have a least one before the league starts Tuesday.

5 places you have lived
Mannhiem, Germany: Got to live there for 4 months. The army is a great way to see the world.
Fort Hood, Texas: Yeah Texas is a wild state.
Camp Edwards, South Korea: Another Army post. Sometimes I wonder what the hell they were thinking sending a 19 year old there first. I got to see some cool things but also learned to drink ALOT.
Huxley, Iowa: This is where my hubbie is from. It was ok but way to flat for me. My joke was yes I live where you can watch your dog run away for 3 miles.
FLippin, Arkansas: Where I live right now and my home.

5 Bad habits
1. Drinking. I can stop but when I do drink I seem to drink alot.
2. Temper, Temper. Only took me...hell I still have a bad temeper but I have learned to control it.
3. I eat to much junk. I have tried to eat better but come on. Veggies or choclate?
4. I am stubborn. If I think I right than it will take you moving a mountain to prove I am wrong.
5. Hummmm.... might soudn bad but honestly dont know what else I have bad habit about.

5 jobs you’ve had
Gas station clerk: Ugh is all I have to say.
Truck/bus driver: In teh army but also a little in the real world.
Shirt factory: Cant remember the actual name of the job but all I did was iron shirts than send them onto packing. It sucked.
McDonald's: Yeah this job blew. Only lasted a few months and that was to long.
Production line at a specialty bio-agronomic and colorant products compnay: Ok this job really blew. I would help mix the shit that lined the football stadiums and stuff like that. HTe other thing was products that would get rid of deer, help farmers know where they sprayed and the worst, make little dye that would go ito ponds at golf courses so it woudl makle it blue and kill alge. The last one sucked the most. You would be inthis room all day and come out looking like a fucking smurf. You would have to shower with this special stuff to scrub it off and even sweat it out later. Blue sweat freaks people out.

How was your blog named?
I just thought I had ot put my 2 cents into it. Everyone has a view of something so why not price it.

What would I do if I was a billionare?
All the things on my to bucket list first. Visit Ireland and Scotland. The land of my family. Take which ever of the Bar bitches that wants to go to. I know they will put mirrors on top of their shoes, it ok someone has to do it.
Build my dream house of course. Help out my family with some of their dreams and give them good jobs within my company.
BasicallyI would work hard to keep it for my kids but also enjoy it and give to others to try and make a difference. If I can help change one persons life for the good than I would count myself successful.

Ok that is it. I would proably write more about the money thing but Mackers is yelling at me. Poor guy is so abused let me tell ya....pffftttt.

Work...yeah I could live without it

The last few days have been so busy for me that I dont know what I did today. I know I got to sleep in today but that muscle relaxer I took is the reason for that. Plus it was raining and I love to sleep in on those days.

Let me recap my week so far. Monday I was finshing up my painting and attempting to get it ready for a new renter. For the new readers I am a maintenance chick while my hubbie does the office work at a 32 unit complex. Yeah we the back asswards couple but it works. It takes alot to get a place looking new when the last time it was I was like 14.

I worked for 10 hours Monday not only working on #28 but i also fixed other things. Kitchen facuet...check. Leaking AC unit.... check. Helping to hang curatins....yeah check. OK got done with that day and on to Tueaday. Oh yeah the fucking grass needs to be cut....shit. As you can tell I really hate cutting my grass. I live on a hill and plus living in Arkansas means we grow rocks. I got all the big mowing done, only took 3 hours. Got the push mower out and pulled the cord...nothing. FUCK!!!!!!!!! It broke and I really dont feel like fixing it cause it is a pain the ass. More trouble than it would be worth so I get to talk the boss into buying a new one. Yippee.

So that killed my mowing. Not to bad of a thing considering it was freaking 92 yesterday. Bad part was my yard looks like crap around the office which is important. Praying that my boss doesnt show up this week. IF so I am so screwed. She is a loomly figure that yes scares the shit out of me. I call her my momma that can fire me.

The rest of Tuesday was basically me trying not to get sick cause I was feeling like crap from my sinuses and oh joy of joys Aunt flow came to visit me after a nice break from her. 11 months of not having to deal with bloating, cramps and the other stuff was nice. I finally felt better after a nap and some gatorade. So i finished # 28 for good and gave up the rest of the day.

Today i woke up late and felt like crap. My back didnt hurt though so that rocks. I had to the health unit and thank god that didnt take long. Than I got to go to Walmart and yeah that was fun. Than back to work I go. Oh wait, I got calls about my student loans. I faxed them everything they needed and by that time it was lunch. After a quick corndog it was off to paint the next apartment.

I worked the rest of the day just prepping the place for me to. Now I am finally done but oh yeah I get to pain tomorrow. It is only Wednesday and I wanna go on vacation again.

Vacation??? What's that???

As many of you know I was out of town this past weekend. I traveled up to the great north for my little brother's wedding. I also had the privilege of actually meeting Shinygal. I loved the minutes I got to spend at the wedding and Shiny's house. It was all the traveling that I hated.

The pics are of my little brother Matt and his beatiful wife Georgia. It was a awesome ceremony and fit with these 2 perfectly. I am so happy that my little brother found the perfect woman for him. I am also happy that our family's get along. Now I know that everyone is happy with their spouse's I can concertate on my marriage. Always the big sister.

Now on to my visit with my girl Shiny. I think we have been talking online for almost 3 years now and this is the first time we have met. She is just as cool in person as online. Just so ya'll know, she is not nearly as shiny in person either. We had a few moments but not nearly as many as online. Shout out to ya Shiny!! Thanks for a great time and remember, you want to come down I got ya girl. I promise to find a strip club here to so we can meet a Bubba ;) Zues needs some company in our memories.

Fam appreciation

I was reading my buddy Winter's blog today and thought she was right. Apericate what you have ya never know when you wont have it anymore.

Yes my kids drive me nuts but hell I was going to lose my mind anyway one day. Now they have put me in the express lane to nutsville. The hubbie has helped of course. I think he put me in the fast lane there. The furball has helped in his own special kitty way.

Even though I am going nuts i still wouldnt trade the ones i love for anther family. I can honestly say that I have one of the most beatifully screwed up families thanks to me. I have worked hard to pay them back for the driving me nuts. Always giving here in arkansas.

On my own

On my own..... Ok that the only line to the song I know. It is repeating over and over again in my head though. Basically I am putting blah, blah in the middle part. Just another thing for me to fret over and think about. Oh joy. Great now i have the happy, happy, joy, joy song in my head. At least I know Ren and Stimpy, you idiot.

Derek is in San Antoino right now learning which button to hit. 2 weeks of training so he knows which button to push to tell everyone else something is coming. Hell I should have become a radar operator. I could so do that. Proably go bat shit crazy within 2 hours though. TO much sitting around. My ass is big enough without adding to it like that.

Mac has been having some bad days lately. He got some bad gas bubbles that just wouldnt come out. I thought we had them out on Saturday but I was so wrong. Sunday I was almost to tears with the frusation. He was crying almost all day long. The 10 minute cat naps got real old real quick to. I of course called my mom and begged for help. After a little dose of gax relief he was fine. Went right to sleep the rest of the night. Ugh.

On top of that my middle child is being a shit. He just plays so hard that he doesnt want to come inside to go poop. I have washed way to many icky britches lately. I have decided I get grossed out boy you are going to get grossed out. He now cleans up the poop he leaves everywhere else. He is even starting to do his own laundry. I dont think he enjoys it as much. Tomorrow will be Yep already lost my mind so why not enjoy it. One day I just might find it but really doubt it.

Porn Name

Was finally getting time to check on all the spots I go to on the computer today. I was over at Katie Mac's site and she suggested a place to go for a laugh. My sense of humor is back now because of this wonderful suggestion.

Prime example is the delightful little pic at the top. someecards.com is a funny ass place. Found a few cards that are just perfect for me to send out to my lovable bitches. You know who you are.
Winter I know you will appreciate the other one.
There are many more on the site. I laughed and yes downloaded some of them. I thought about dong it for my mom's b-day coming up but honestly she doesnt have my warped sense of humor. In other words I dont want to hear, "Mary Elizabeth, what were you thinking?" I hear that enough trust me.

Life sucks

Usually I wouldnt say that but this time it does. I like to work with what I got and make the best of it but today I just cant. Sometimes it feels like I am faking it but honestly I dont even have the energy to do that. What tops it off is the fact that Spence aint here for me to cry on. I am having a hellious day and just hoping that it ends soon.

I finally found the right vechile for my family. I have only been looking for 8 months. If you are going to be paying on a something you better make sure you really want it right? Well I just happened across a minivan that was within my price range and had the miles on it we wanted. I cant afford a new one but a good used one is fine for me.

I went into the delarship this morning at 8:30. I really wanted to look at this van and talk to my buddy that worked there. He is a service manager so he knows what is happening with the cars around there. It was ok'ed and the thing drove great. Even has power everything. I loved the doors being powered. I would know that they are at least clsoed all the way no matter what.

Everything was going great until the money talk started. I do have bad credit and will the first to say so. I even told them so actually. It for sure took a bit out of my ass. No way was the word we got back from every credit place. I have the money and am payingoff the folks I owe. Even the finance person was wondering why. I understood and let it go. Still decided to go to my bank and try there though. Yeah the went as bad as the car place.

SO instead of me being a minivan mom I am still driving around a truck that I wonder how much longer I can egg it on. I have put over $500 into repairs on it within the last few months. I even get to take it back to my mechanic and get more done. It is bad when your mechanic calls your truck the blazer from hell??

On top of all this Mackers has been super fussy lately. I just am not making him happy during the day. I either dont feed or hold him enough. I am fine with just putting him down and letting him cry for awhile but there is a limit. I have already went past it and now am into furstated bout to pull my hair out phase. I need a break!! To bad spence wont be home until oh yeah the 31st. *banging head on wall*

I hope my mom is home tonight. I need to talk to her and maybe I'll get a hug. If not I am coming home and having a drink. I have some yummy Parrot Bay rum drinks that will do me just fine.

My hubbie, the ass

Did you hear that?? Yes that is me sighing. Lord knows I love myhubbie but he is a huge ass sometimes. He is one of the smartest adn dumbest people I know.

Many of you know that hubbie is the national guard and has to be called away from time to time to serve. He is gone for his 2 weeks this month. 2 weeks of me in charge of everything around here. The office, kids and maintenance, all on me. Ugh.

This has been scheduled for awhile now. He knew he had to go but did he finish his work before he went.....HELL NO!! For 2 weeks prior to this I asked him if it was done. Reminding him that it needed to get done. His answer was it will. *looking at the stack of paperwork on desk* Freaking liar.

Now not only do I have to make sure the kids get everywhere they need to go, the empty apartment got cleaned and rented out, recertifications of leases done, grass mowed, baby taken care of, house cleaned, laundry done, food cooked, dishes cleaned, and basic maintenance of the apartments,I also have to recover from having Mackers. Nope got nothing to do.

So, Derek, if you are reading this, you are in a shit load of trouble. This summer is going to be hell on you and dont even think for one second you can complain about shit. You are going to be the babysitter, office worker, and basic bitch for me. The only perk you will get out of this summer is seeing your brother. You sure the hell arent getting any sex.

Mackers

That is what I call my little guy. He makes this smacking sound when he is feeding so hence the name. Considering that the only thing I am doing right now is taking care of him and healing up that is what i am going to write about. In other words if you dont want to hear a new gushing over theri new kid run now.

Yes, Mac is my third kid but I swear I have never had a more content baby. Here is a perfect example, right now he is laying down beside me in his boppy sleeping. He knows I am beside him and that is enough for him. Sometimes he is just so relaxed we actually have to check to make sure he is breathing. Scary.

Today we started out with our morning feeding at 6. I was up anyway so no big. Plus the boy is letting me sleep during the night so yeah for me. Only have to feed him every 4 to 6 hours at night so I am lucky. After we feed he just sat on the couch with me watching sportscenter. Yes that is my kid for sure. He actually got mad cause I turned the channel to check on the weather.

Once the kids were gone he decided to take a morning nap. He got on the boob again and after getting nice and full he let go of me and laid back. I snuggled in with him thinking hey maybe I can get a nap. That would have worked but he of course had to go pee. Yeah the diaper was on but not tight enough. Pee came streaming out the front like a flood. UGH!!!

Well at least I can say he got a bath this morning. After that he has been feeling good. Nice and quiet, asleep in other words. Figure I have about 30 more minutes before feeding time. Which of course is his fav time. I can tell he is part Derek. He loves his booby and dont tell me he doesnt think it is his.

2 days ago Hubbie came over to ask me a question and of course give his boy a kiss. Mackers was well macking the boob. Derek leaned down to give him a kiss on the head and Mac stopped feeding looked at his daddy and pushed him away. He wouldnt start feeding again till daddy left the boobby area. Seems Mackers is very protective of his mobile milk bar. Just like his daddy, he loves the boobs.

Hopefully that made ya'll laugh. Mackers makes me laugh at least 2 or 3 times a day. I am just waiting for him to get older and see what he does. He may be quiet now but that dont mean nothing in this family. At one time I was quiet to.

Had the baby

Yeah that be the Mac baby. He cute huh? It feels weird having him beside me instead of in me. I used to have to calm him down so i could type. Now I have to make sure the binkie says in his mouth. Heck of a change.

Let me tell ya this baby is the one that if I wasnt getting fixed before I sure would now. Never again would I go through that. You couldnt pay me enough to either. We started out at 4 wednesday morning. Yeah I was actually awake that early. My mom was with me and had coffee going. I was in my room with that wonderful stupid gown on before 430.

My bigggest complaint at that time was how with all our wonderful medical advances can we not get a gown that is more comfortable. I dont know about you but I really dont want all the world to see my ass unless I want them to. That gown leaves no room for you to even try to keep it covered. Not like it makes that much of a differnce when you are getting checked out.

So anyway I am all hooked up to the stuff that gets you started. My mom is sitting there with me and we are just chilling out. Watching the news and talking. Things are starting to happen slowly so I am not really worried about anything yet. Hubbie was taking the kids to school. Once he showed up for some reason that is when the pain really kicked in. Does that sound funny to you to?

Thank god the doc came in when they really started to get bad. Plus Derek was really hating how much I was tweaking the hell out of his thumb. Poor guy, like i care. Problems started after he gave me pain shot though. The little guy's blood pressure started to drop low. The doc was of course worried but I told him no problems. I at least knew what was happening.

Little Mac started to work with us and everything was fine. Mainly as long as I stayed on my right side. Yeah I was worried but if these folks that had spent tons of money on getting the education to get this done right were right there watching me the whole time. I just kept breathing through it and holding onto Derek's hand.

Then the real pain kicked in. Oh wow, it sucked big time. Breathing was fine but I wanted my epidural. Dont think I didnt get it either once I started calling for it. I of course didnt kill him but I made sure he knew I was in real pain. Once I got that I relaxed majorly. Easy to do when you cant feel your lower half. Derek was happy about it to.

That is when the problem really got bad though. His pressure started going down and wouldnt come up. You could feel the tension just skyrocket among the doc and nurse. I knew what was happening then it was what came next that sucked.

I was rushed into the OR to get a c-section. I have never been more scared in my life. I just wanted to know more of what was happening. I can not deal with it if I dont know. One moment I was relaxing in the room the next I was spread out on a table getting asked if I felt sleepy and to just keep breathing the O2.

I was knocked out not to much after I asked what was happening. The nurse looked at me and told me not to worry everything would be fine. Ok I have been on drugs for awhile so somebody tell me how the hell I am supposed to know what is going on? The last thing I remember is her squeezing my hand and rubbing my head. Oh and me crying. I was scared shitless. Who wouldnt be?

I am told I was knocked out about 2 hours. All I can tell ya is I woke up and felt colder. Seems my little guy is a hell of a heater. They let my hubbie into the recovery room even though they werent supposed to. He told me exactly why I was operated on. It seems his cord had gotten wrapped around his poor little neck. No wonder I was rushed in there.

Now everything is fine and I have a very healthy eater on my hands. He is actually squeaking at me to feed him again. Only on a 2 hour roatation. My poor boobs are killing me. So I will leave you with one of the photos of my new kid I really like. Mac a winking at all you hotties.

V-Chip madness

My hubbie made me laugh already this morning. Usually it takes a little bit to but not today. In the morning rather than trying to figure out what is happening in the world he loves to watch JAG. You know that show about the military lawyers.

Anyway, he took the boy to school and came running back in about 7:45. I was looking at the Bar and he asked if I was watching the TV. I can multitask so hell yeah I watching. He took off upstairs turning the kids tv to JAG. Less than 5 minutes later he comes back down pissed. I looked at him and asked what was wrong. "Stupid v-chip wont let me watch. Why in the hell did we get that in a tv?"

Ok I laughed. I couldnt help it. He just proved why we have the kids tv with a v-chip in it. They dont need to see some of the crap on. I dont need them to be strippers until much later in life. Actually I dont want her to be it at all but you just never know what life will throw at my kids.

I am trying to make sure that my kids know what is riht and what is wrong. I have a lot of examples around me about how to do it right and what it looks like wrong. So many people just seem to give up when things start getting rough. I keep plugging away and tell my kids to do the same. Our family rule is that you never give up. No matter what, you never do.

Some parnets look at me and you can read the disapproval in their eyes. Why do they think I am being hard on my kids? I think I am doing fine screwing them up my way. Liz has really taken the lesson to heart. I dont even have to tell her the rule anymore. I just ask her what we dont do. She answers and gets back in there and does it. Makes me feel great when she does get whatever she thought of was hard.

So lesson today is the v-chip works. Teach your kids good lessons. Oh and laugh at your hubbie or whoever you love as much as possible. It makes things better. But hey that is just my 2 cents.

I hurting!!

Today is just not my day. Actually last night was when it all started. All I was trying to do was come down my stairs and get a drink. Next thing I know I am sliding down them like I was trying to steal 3rd.

It was not on my belly so dont freak out. I guess my foot just slipped and next thing I know down I go. I tried to grab onto the rail but my hand just slid right down that sucker. My right leg bent back and slammed down on the steps. So my right knee and ankle are now both swollen. IT hurts to even move the suckers.

My right knee is already messed up from all the softball I have played so this was something not needed. I should have had it repaired a couple years ago but without insurance there is just no way I can afford to. A couple thousand dollars just to get it looked at and told yep it screwed up. No shit sherlock, that is why I came to see you.

Worst part is when I had to get up to go pee in the night. With a big kid on my bladder I have to use the potty more than once during the night. It hurt just to put my foot off the bed. Needless to say I did get up but wow it took a little bit.

Funniest part was my daughter got up early this morning so she could catch the bus and came in there to make sure I was ok. I was working on getting up so I could yet again go to the potty and had yelped. I told her what happened and of course she had to check out the knee. After getting my get better kiss, I tried to get up again. OOOOWWWW!!! She looked at me with all seriousness and said, "Mom you got to get up. I can not bring the potty to you. That is just gross."

Yeah I laughed. What else can you do. I agreed with her and got up. The only thing I can think of is well there goes my retirement. Guess I am on my own once I hit that age where I need her to help me out. I am thinking that I better push them a little harder in school so they can get really really good jobs and take care of my old ass. If not boy I am going to be a super nasty ass senior.

Now that i have something to look forward to in my old age, I have to go potty, again. I really can not wait until I have this kid. I am sick of getting up and going potty every hour on the hour. Instead I want to get up every 2 hours and change a nasty baby ass and feed him. Boy isnt my life something to be jealous of.
